Utilizing connections enables us to:
- Search and Exploration: Efficiently find colleagues using Oracle's powerful search functionalities, simplifying the process of browsing and refining search outcomes.
- Personalized Profiles: Access comprehensive profiles containing essential details such as work location, time zone, and other pertinent information to facilitate scheduling and enhance collaboration efforts.
- Profile Customization: Enhance your profile by including details about your professional background, interests, and skills, allowing others to better understand your expertise and interests.
- Favourites: Use Favourites to mark people that we can interact with often, or to build a network of people to help achieve your career objectives.
- Common Interests and Expertise: Uncover similarities with colleagues to foster valuable professional connections.
- Organizational Insight: Enhance your comprehension of co-workers’ positions within the organizational framework by utilizing visible organization char.
- Feedback Collaboration: Participate in constructive feedback exchanges with colleagues to establish a basis for growth and progress.
- Access the Connections application through Me > Connections or quick action in the Me tab.
- On the Connections page, utilize either a person's name or email for searching and we can search using various person-related fields, but Connections uses people’s names for a primary search and other fields are secondary.
- We can also click the Advanced Search icon on the page to view filters across categories. We can select multiple values to refine your search.
- When We click a filter, a list of values available for that filter along with the number of people that match that filter are displayed in a list.
- The available filters include Country, City, Tags, Title, Location, Job, Department, and Position.
