Navigation: Navigator > Tools > Approvals
- The Approvals workspace offers three different views:
· Approvals Tasks
· Quick View
· Approvals Status and History
Approvals Tasks:
- On the Approvals Tasks page, we can view a list of tasks assigned to the current user, along with relevant business attributes based on the approval type. We have the flexibility to organize our work using provided filters, search for keywords, and take actions such as approving or rejecting approvals.
§ Managing Approval Tasks with Supplied Filters:
· Task type, for example, Approval, FYI, or Request
· Approval type, for example, expense reports
· From, or the person who sent the approval
- We can also perform keyword searches on various attributes of the tasks. Any combination of searches and filters can be saved and shared.
- Efficiently manage our tasks without the need to wait for each one to finish before proceeding to the next approval. Supported actions include:
· Approve
· Reject
· Dismiss (FYIs)
Quick View:
- To view more details about an approval, click on a task in the list to open the Quick View. This provides additional information about the approval and enables you to either approve or reject it. You can navigate to the next task in the list by clicking the arrow.
- For additional information or to perform an action not currently accessible in the Quick View, select "View More Details" to access the Analytics Publisher or Application Development Framework (ADF) notification.
- To return to the list, click on the "Approvals Tasks" link.
Approvals Status and History:
- Select "Approvals Status and History" to check the present status and assignee of approvals you have either submitted or approved.
- Leverage the provided filters and keyword search to locate historical approval details.

prioritizes performance in its design and construction. The user experience is
enhanced for desktop, tablet, and mobile users, facilitating prompt action on
approval tasks and notifications.
Mobile View:
As
we're aware, the Redwood pages are accessible via the mobile application as
well. Thus, here's a glimpse of how the approval tab appears on the mobile
view.
Further Update:
MOBILE APPLICATION PUSH NOTIFICATIONS:
- We can utilize mobile Web push notifications for both Android and iOS devices to streamline specific workflows, such as expense management.
- With mobile Web notifications, there's no need to keep the mobile application open in our browser to receive updates.
- Once notifications are enabled on our device, they will consistently be delivered.
