In today’s fast-paced business environment, efficient and effective recruitment processes are pivotal to organizational success. Oracle’s Fusion HCM (Human Capital Management) suite has consistently set
the standard for comprehensive HR solutions. Among its standout features is the Redwood Experience for the Job Requisition Detail Page, which revolutionizes how businesses manage their hiring workflows. One cool
thing about Fusion HCM is its Redwood design. It makes everything look and feel
smooth and easy to use. The job requisition details page is a great example of
this. It's designed to guide users smoothly through the hiring process, making
it simpler and more intuitive.
While the
ability to view and edit job requisitions has been enhanced in this update,
it's important to note that job requisition creation is not yet supported in
the Redwood Experience. Nonetheless, the improvements introduced in 24B promise
to elevate the user experience and empower hiring teams to make informed
decisions more easily and efficiently.
Let's delve deeper into this latest update's features and functionalities, providing a comprehensive overview of how organizations can leverage the Redwood Experience to streamline their recruitment processes and drive organizational success.
Navigation: My Client Groups > Hiring > Job Requisition
My
Team > Hiring > Job Requisition
Utilizing the Redwood Experience for the Job Requisition Empowers Us to:
§ Access Comprehensive Requisition Information in a Single View
The new Redwood page consolidates all critical details about the requisition, including the hiring team, state, work location, and recruiting type, into a single, easy-to-navigate row. This streamlined view ensures that all relevant information is readily accessible, enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
§
Toggle between Internal and
External Posting Descriptions
The posting description section features convenient toggle buttons that allow users to separate internal and external posting descriptions. While these descriptions are identical by default, they can be customized to meet specific needs, ensuring clear and targeted communication for different audiences.
§
Create Posting Descriptions with
Flexibility
Users can effortlessly create posting descriptions by utilizing existing templates from the content library or crafting them from scratch. This flexibility allows for quick and consistent creation of job postings that align with the organization’s branding and communication standards.
§
Enjoy a User-Friendly Interface
The Redwood Experience prioritizes user-friendliness, offering an intuitive interface that simplifies navigation and use. This design ensures that HR professionals can efficiently manage job requisitions without needing extensive training, thus saving time and reducing the likelihood of errors.
Overview
§ We can change the Requisition Title, Education Level, and Other Locations field values, get an estimated time to hire, and save the values once satisfied with the results.
§ There
is no longer a need to return to the Details tab to modify these fields, as the
corresponding values are updated immediately when users save their changes.
Details
§ On the Details page, we have sections for Basic Info, Hiring Team, Requisition Structure, Details, Work Requirements, Posting Description, Offer Info, Attachments, Configuration, Pre-screening Questions, and Interview Questionnaires.
§ Especially in the posting description section, Toggle buttons are available to separate internal and external posting descriptions. By default, they are the same, but we can modify them.
§ We can create the posting description using an
existing template from the content library or build it from scratch.
Job Formatting
§ We can use the "View Details" link to view the content of the employer description and recruiting organization description.
§ Users can view these details while selecting the description and after saving it, helping them choose the correct content when formatting the job requisition.
§ Additionally, clicking the media title allows access to video
or image links.
Interviews
§ To initiate the interview scheduling process with candidates, the initial step involves creating an interview schedule for the respective job requisition.
§ On the Job Requisitions page access a requisition that has progressed to the Approval phase or subsequent stages.
§ Within the Interview Schedules section, opt to add a new schedule by selecting the "Create Interview Schedule" option after clicking the "Add" button.
§ Automated interview invitations can
be dispatched to candidates once their job applications reach a predefined
stage in the candidate selection process.
Posting
§ Requisition posting involves publishing a
requisition to invite candidates to apply for the job.
§ Upon the creation and approval of a
requisition, the subsequent step is to post it. Here is the Redwood process for
the posting section.
§ In the
Staffing Agents section, we have the capability to add a staffing agent, set an
expiration date for their involvement, and send an invitation to the agent.
§ This
streamlined process allows all these actions to be completed in a single step, enhancing efficiency and user convenience.
Messages
§ The Interactions tab has been renamed to Messages.
§ This feature enables us to communicate with hiring team members by sending messages that notify them of required actions on job requisitions and keep them informed throughout the hiring process.
§ This
ensures seamless coordination and timely updates for all stakeholders involved.
Feedback
§ In the
Feedback tab, we can access a comprehensive table view displaying the feedback
provided for each candidate. This table includes critical details such as
feedback status and other pertinent dates.
§ Additionally, the feedback can be easily searched using candidate or respondent names, and each column can be sorted for enhanced organization and accessibility.
§ Furthermore,
we can view the detailed feedback submitted by respondents within a drawer
panel, allowing for an in-depth review and analysis of candidate evaluations.
Progress
§ The Progress tab offers a transparent overview of each phase and status of a job requisition, accompanied by timestamps indicating the date, time, and time zone for every update.
§ This
feature ensures meticulous tracking and accountability throughout the
requisition process.
Screening Services
§ The Screening Services tab has undergone a significant update, making it more user-friendly and accessible. Previously, background checks, assessments, and tax credits were all grouped under the Details tab.
§ Now, these critical screening services are displayed separately in their dedicated tab. This change not only streamlines the user interface but also allows users to quickly access and manage these essential services without navigating through additional details.
§ Furthermore, the process of adding partners and packages for background checks and assessments has been greatly simplified. Users can now utilize a one-step guided process, which provides clear, step-by-step instructions to ensure that the setup is both efficient and accurate.
§ These
improvements are designed to enhance the overall user experience, ensuring that
the management of screening services is straightforward, intuitive, and
efficient.
